Test and Tune

Open Road will be hosting two test and tune days this year.

20 June 2010 - Mosport, Driver Development Track
Targa teams are welcome to participate in the testing group at our Mosport School. The DDT is a very tight and twisty track that provides a great place to test the braking and cornering ability of your Targa car. (note: this test day is included in the Mosport school entry)

xx August 2010 - Shannonville, Ontario
Shannonville is an excellent track for Targa testing. The track surface and corner characteristics are very similar to the critical stages at Targa. If your car works well at Shannonville, it should be competitive in Newfoundland. Private coaching is available at this event.

10 September 2010
A third test day may be offered in Newfoundland on Friday September 10th. If you are interested in a Newfoundland test day, please contact us.

Date Location Registration Price Register
20 June 2010 Mosport DDT Open $275* Form
xx August 2010 Shannonville Open $375* Form

Custom Training

We recognize the fact that not everyone can fit the schools into their busy schedules. To help overcome this challenge, we can take the Targa school on the road and bring the training to you. Programs can be put together for 1, 5, 10 or more teams. Please contact us to inquire about our custom training programs.

Coaching

Are you looking for the edge that will help you win your class or compete for the overall title? We can help. Private coaching is available.

Students successfully completing the course will qualify for a Targa Competition license.

"Learn from those who have gone before: you're going to make mistakes, but make some new ones - don't make the same ones we all did. You're investing a lot of money in the event and your car - protect that investment by taking this course. It could be the best few hundred dollars you'll spend."
Jim Kenzie, Toronto Star and Motoring
